Before You Start

Slice the sirloin thin, cut the broccoli into even florets, rinse the spinach, and grate the ginger so it is ready by the stove.

How To Make It
  1. Season the beef and sear it in a hot pan over high heat, 2 to 3 minutes, until browned outside and it reaches 145°F in the center, then set it aside to rest 3 minutes.
    145°F
  2. Cook the broccoli florets in the same pan, 5 to 6 minutes, until bright green and crisp and tender.
  3. Add the spinach and cook, 1 to 2 minutes, until it wilts.
  4. Pour in the coconut milk, coconut aminos, ginger, and lime and simmer, 2 to 3 minutes, until slightly thickened, then fold in the basil.
  5. Serve the beef and vegetables over the jasmine rice.
Fix It: If the sauce tastes flat, a squeeze more lime and a pinch of salt brings the coconut and basil forward.
Air Fryer
  1. Heat the air fryer to 380F.
  2. Add the ingredients you would cook on the stove or in the oven in a single layer, without crowding the basket.
  3. Cook for about 13 minutes, shaking the basket halfway, until cooked through and lightly crisp.
  4. Let it rest a minute, then finish and plate the dish as written in the steps above.
Microwave
  1. Add the ingredients you would cook together to a microwave safe bowl along with their liquid.
  2. Cover loosely and microwave in one minute bursts, stirring between each, until hot through.
  3. Let it stand for a minute, then finish and plate the dish as written in the steps above.
